
Our Story
Corey R. Lorenzen opened the Lorenzen Law Firm, P.C. after more than a decade at two of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Northeast Iowa, as well as several years working at one of the largest community banks in the state of Iowa.
Corey has experience in commercial transactions, commercial and probate litigation, finance, insurance, and as a financial adviser. The firm utilizes Corey's background in these areas to focus the firm's practice to the areas of business formation, business and real estate transactions, business consulting, probate, and estate planning.
The firm further utilizes Corey's experience in civil litigation. The firm assists clients in a wide range of disputes, including estate litigation and will contests, and all aspects of commercial relationships, such as disputes involving financial institutions, the uniform commercial code, contracts, business dissolution's, covenants not to compete, and insurance coverage.

Get to Know Us
Corey Lorenzen has spent his entire professional career in the Cedar Valley. Corey practiced law at two of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Northeast Iowa for nearly 13 years. Following his time practicing law, Corey spent over 4 years at one of the largest community banks in the state of Iowa, focusing on commercial lending and serving as a licensed financial advisor. Corey has now started Lorenzen Law Firm to use his financial and legal skills to advise and counsel individuals and businesses.
Corey grew up on his family farm north of Dysart, Iowa and graduated from Union High School in La Porte City, Iowa. Corey is married to his wife Jennie, who is a teacher at Union Middle School in Dysart. Corey and Jennie have two children, Ty and Lily, who are very active in basketball, baseball and softball, cross country, track and other various school activities. In their free time, the Lorenzens enjoy golfing, playing cards, attending sporting events, and traveling.
